Being home of Cham minority group, Ninh Thuan has characters culture of Cham ethnic, which stamp in local custom, Cham dance, sculpture, pottery, and brocade and agriculture of Cham towers. Famous towers name Po Klong Garai and Porome.
Nowadays, Cham people still preserve matriarchy, a valuable inheritance of Vietnam, and special festivals such as Kate and Cha Bun ceremonies, Royal Idiladha and Ra Glai Tribe festivals and other ceremonies like dig a ditch, dam up, new rice. Kate Ceremony is the biggest and most joyful festival of Cham people, taking place in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan Provinces. The ceremony is held at Poklong Garai and other Cham Towers to commemorate national heroes, ancestors, and deities of the Cham, as well as King Poklong and King Porome.

Then you will visit Po Klong Garai temple which was built in honor of the legendary king Po Klaung Garai, who ruled Panduranga from 1151 to 1205, by the historic King Jaya Sinhavarman III. It is now over 700 year-old Cham Temple and still in use (go in October to witness the Kate Festival) and well maintained. As it is located on the top of Trau Hill so you can observe view of city from this temple.
The next stop is a local grape garden to see how the locals grow grape and make grape wine or grape juice. From here, you will visit Bau Truc Pottery Village - the oldest extant pottery village in Vietnam, and possibly Southeast Asia and learn how to make pottery.
After lunch at a local restaurant, your trip will continue with a visit to salt field in Ca Na – the biggest salt field in Vietnam (suitable time for visiting this salt field is from Dec to Sept). Here you will have chance to listen to farmers to share their experience in making salt.
